Meet this week’s Forward Thinker Spotlight: Brooke Jackson! Brooke is a senior and acts as the captain of her PeerForward team at Suitland High School. She plans to pursue nursing, and has already been accepted into 10 different Colleges and Universities! We caught up with her to ask about her Peer Leader journey what drives her to be a positive influence:
Why did you choose to be a positive influence on others?
I chose to be a positive influence because it only takes one person to start a chain of positive actions. Why not be that person?

In your own words what is a Peer Leader? At school, what moments have made you feel like a Peer Leader, if any?
A Peer Leader is someone who is dedicated to empowering others to better themselves. Peer Leaders are also someone who can provide guidance and support to those who need it.
