On a breathtaking evening high above the city, PeerForward’s Leadership Council hosted Navigating A Season of Change, a fundraiser dedicated to empowering the next generation of Peer Leaders. Held at McDermott Will & Emery’s stunning One Vanderbilt location, the event unfolded on the top floor, offering guests panoramic views of the New York skyline—a fitting backdrop for a night centered around vision, growth, and opportunity.
From the moment guests arrived, they were welcomed with delicious food, fine wine, and the warmth of good company. Among the attendees were esteemed guests from The Chambers Group, Deloitte, McDermott Will & Emery, educators from PeerForward schools, members of PeerForward’s leadership team, and PeerForward alumni. Their presence underscored the deep network of support behind the hundreds of students PeerForward trains each year and demonstrated the lasting impact of the program.
The highlight of the night was the PeerForward panel, an unforgettable discussion that brought the mission to life. Featuring an admissions administrator from Hunter College, two college-bound Peer Leaders, and PeerForward CEO Gary Z. Linnen, the panelists shared their motivations and personal connections to PeerForward’s mission. Their stories of perseverance and success reaffirmed why investing in Peer Leaders is so crucial.
Throughout the night, guests were treated to exciting giveaways as a token of appreciation for their generosity.
