Our Managing Director of Program Implementation, Raquel Figueroa, was recently featured in an interview with Comcast Newsmakers on the need for better postsecondary preparation for students at low-income high schools, and how our organization works to improve outcomes for these students. When asked about the effectiveness of our unique peer-to-peer method to drive change, Raquel shared, “Absolutely it works- our students are creative, they have boundless energy, and they come up with very innovative solutions to challenges we are seeing in our schools.”
