Throughout this past year, our corporate partners, both new and returning, have played a crucial role by enlightening, encouraging, and empowering our students and staff. Their contributions have significantly impacted our program and the broader community. These contributions varied from individual and team volunteerism to enlightening us through the SCOTUS decision. Below you can read some of our highlights:
Amtrak has been instrumental in providing leadership and volunteer support. More than 10 of their professionals volunteered at Peer Leader training camps engaging students in college and career readiness, networking, and team-building activities. As part of their On Track for Good program, Amtrak also generously donated train tickets to Peer Leaders and staff on their journeys to summer workshops.
Deloitte continues to provide volunteerism opportunities to its staff members with PeerForward. More than 70+ volunteers at our training camps in the NYC and DMV area and Summer Workshops impacting a total of almost 600 students nationwide. They conducted a series of professional development webinars for our college students, covering topics such as financial literacy, personal well-being, and business chemistry.
PeerForward attended The Dallas Mavericks “Huddle Summit,” where we were able to build community partnerships in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan Area. We anticipate hosting an event for Dallas ISD students and community members in the upcoming months in partnership with the Dallas Mavericks.
Rap Snacks Inc. has made significant contributions by donating products and providing professionals from the food industry as volunteers at our training camp.
The engagement and support from our corporate partners have been pivotal in advancing our mission and creating impactful experiences for our students and staff. We look forward to continuing these fruitful collaborations and exploring new opportunities for engagement in the coming year.
